About the role
CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program. This role provides technical expertise and analysis for specialized applications and operational environments. The candidate will apply industry principles and functional knowledge to meet task order requirements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate systems to identify operational efficiencies and automation opportunities
- Monitor solutions and recommend adjustments to optimize long-term sustainment
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and working groups
- Ensure systems are scalable, adaptable, and meet performance requirements
- Contribute to developing a client roadmap to enhance sustainment using automation technologies
Requirements
- To Be Successful In This Role: U.S. citizenship required, successful completion of a CGI background check prior to beginning work. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years of experience with lifecycle sustainment, systems integration, and data-driven analysis of mission-critical systems for efficiency, scalability, security, and usability
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, and asset management for operational readiness
- Ability to develop evaluation reports and provide recommendations on process, automation, and integration improvements to streamline mission delivery
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines
