Technical Service Specialist

Job Description

The Technical Service Representative provides technical service and support for the Company’s beverage carton customers. This includes but is not limited to:

• Daily customer visits
• Carton and Machines inspections
• Training customers on both carton and machine
• General advising/assistance on all offers

Conducts/controls service activities as assigned to ensure timely customer support while meeting the goals and objectives for productivity and utilization.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical skills and technical knowledge
• Good interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communications skills
• Self-driven to work alone and in teams, when needed
• Flexibility to travel 75% of the time with the ability to spend extended periods of time away from home, as business needs require
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel

Desired Skills

• Experience in packaging equipment or equivalent in dairy/juice industry

Pay and Benefits

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 - $115,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
