Position Summary & Highlights
We are seeking a Client Technical Service Rep to support our Treasure Valley Lab Centers. This role involves providing technical support for hospital outreach-based clients, assisting with esoteric testing, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
What you will do
- Provide detailed technical support for hospital outreach-based clients and serve as a resource to other laboratory support staff.
- Assist with highly technical questions and provide support material for esoteric testing.
- Confer with the laboratory staff to find specific answers to questions and find solutions for issues requiring research and follow-up.
- Support staff training for new and existing outpatient laboratory services clients and address operational standards concerns.
- Follow up with management on recommendations for improvements and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Depending on the site, ensure area personnel are properly trained and assess competency levels.
Minimum Qualification
- High School Diploma is required.
- An Associate degree in medical technology is preferred.
- At least three years of related experience in laboratory operations, terminology, methodology, and logistics.
- Understanding of medical insurance billing procedures and requirements is a plus.
