Technical Recruiter
About the role
Reusable launch systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. As a Full-Cycle Recruiter, you will play a critical role in building the team that makes this mission possible. You will partner closely with hiring managers to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent across a variety of functions while delivering an outstanding candidate experience from first outreach through onboarding. As the first recruiter based in our Florida office, you'll also help establish a welcoming and seamless experience for new employees by supporting select People Operations activities and serving as a local resource for the growing team.
Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and drive searches from kickoff to close.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and relationship building.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
- Coordinate and facilitate onsite interviews, including logistics and candidate hosting.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and reporting within our Applicant Tracking System.
- Support new hire onboarding by coordinating first-day logistics, assisting with employment verification (I-9) processes, and partnering with the broader People team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Act as the local People team representative for our Florida office, providing support for recruiting events, onboarding, and other People Operations initiatives as the office grows.
- Build relationships with local universities, professional organizations, and community partners to strengthen Stoke's employer brand and talent pipeline.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and programs as we scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace engineers, and/or software engineers.
- Experience in successfully developing and executing hiring strategies, as well as influencing business leaders.
- Proven track record in solving complex challenges and achieving consistent results.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with high volume recruiting and staying organized.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred).
- Ability to work onsite at our Cape Canaveral, FL location.

Pay
$95,500 - $143,200
ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
