Technical Recruiter
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly proactive Technical Sourcer / Recruiter to support hiring for our Antenna organization. This is a sourcing-focused role centered on building high-quality, top-of-funnel candidate pipelines for specialized technical and engineering positions across hardware, aerospace, RF, and antenna disciplines.
This is not a traditional full-cycle recruiting role. Your primary responsibility will be to identify qualified candidates, conduct initial outreach and screening conversations, assess interest and basic alignment, and confirm factors such as compensation expectations and willingness to relocate. Internal recruiting teams manage the later-stage interview process, offer negotiation, and closing activities.
The ideal candidate is a sourcing-driven recruiter—ideally with a mix of agency and technical recruiting experience—who is comfortable actively identifying, engaging, and generating interest from passive candidates rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants. You bring a high bias for action, strong attention to detail, creativity in solving difficult sourcing challenges, and the ability to get candidates genuinely excited about complex hardware and aerospace opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Own the top-of-funnel recruiting process for assigned roles within the Antenna organization, with a primary focus on proactive candidate sourcing and engagement.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and attract highly qualified passive candidates for specialized technical, hardware, aerospace, RF, antenna, and engineering roles.
- Spend the majority of your time actively sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, internet research, referrals, and other targeted search strategies rather than relying on inbound applicant pipelines.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening conversations to assess technical alignment, interest in the opportunity, compensation expectations, availability, and willingness to relocate.
- Generate excitement around opportunities by clearly communicating the role, team, technology, and broader value proposition to prospective candidates.
- Partner with hiring teams and internal recruiters to understand role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and continuously refine sourcing strategies based on market feedback.
- Build and maintain organized pipelines of qualified, interested candidates for hard-to-fill and specialized positions.
- Submit interested candidates for internal duplicate checks prior to deeper recruiting engagement to ensure proper candidate management and avoid duplicate outreach.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and sourcing activity within applicable recruiting and candidate management systems.
- Track pipeline activity and provide regular reporting on sourcing progress, candidate engagement, and top-of-funnel health.
- Demonstrate creativity and persistence in identifying candidates for difficult-to-fill roles, and continuously experiment with sourcing approaches to improve results.
- Identify process improvements and remove blockers that impact candidate generation and engagement.
- Leverage recruiting tools, data, AI-enabled technologies, and emerging sourcing techniques to improve efficiency and expand access to relevant talent pools.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive recruiting, sourcing, technical recruiting, or search firm experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a highly sourcing-driven recruiting environment, with significant experience proactively identifying and engaging passive candidates.
- Experience developing and using a variety of sourcing strategies and tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, internet research, professional networks, and direct outreach.
- Experience conducting initial candidate screening conversations and evaluating candidate interest, qualifications, compensation expectations, and availability.
- Demonstrated success filling difficult, specialized, or highly competitive roles.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, contact management systems, or other recruiting tools to source, track, and manage candidates.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates and generate excitement around new opportunities.
- High bias for action, persistence, creativity, and a results-oriented sourcing mindset.
- Bachelor's degree.

- Strong understanding of technical talent markets and the ability to translate hiring requirements into targeted sourcing strategies.
