Technical Recruiter
Position Summary
Location: Remote - but able to commute to office in Tysons Corner as needed. Consideration will be limited to candidates residing in Virginia or Maryland. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5pm.
About the Role
The Junior Recruiter services as a talent acquisition partner supporting full-cycle recruitment across federal and commercial programs at Resolution Think. This role focuses on candidate sourcing, screening, coordination, and pipeline development to support timely and high-quality hiring outcomes. The Junior Recruiter works closely with senior recruiting staff, hiring managers, and program leadership to ensure recruiting operations run efficiently while delivering a strong candidate experience. This position is ideal for a motivated professional looking to grow within federal and technical recruiting.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the execution of recruiting strategies aligned with organizational hiring goals.
- Proactively source active and passive candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry platforms.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles, including cleared and technical positions.
- Review resumes and conduct initial screening interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and fit.
- Respond to basic new hire questions regarding onboarding, timelines, and required documentation.
- Monitor onboarding milestones and follow up on outstanding items to prevent delays in start dates.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including collection and tracking of required documents, forms, and credentials.
- Prepare candidate submittal packages and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support recruiting efforts in alignment with contract requirements, labor categories, and program Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure timely candidate submittals to meet program delivery timelines and customer expectations.
- Support proposal and capture recruiting efforts by identifying contingent candidates for upcoming opportunities.
- Support surge hiring initiatives and rapidly scale sourcing efforts to meet evolving program needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR support, or staffing experience.
- Strong interest in federal government contracting or technical recruiting environments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ClearanceJobs, etc.).

Compensation
$65,000-$75,000/yr.
