Technical Recruiter
About the role
As a Technical Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruiting across the breadth of Raft from our engineers and technical delivery teams (software, DevSecOps, data, and AI/ML) to program and product management, business development, and corporate functions. You will be the connective tissue between our hiring managers and the exceptional talent that powers our mission, managing the candidate journey from intake through offer.
Responsibilities
- Routine recruitment of security-cleared talent for defense and national security missions
- Navigate clearance and citizenship requirements for candidates
- Proactively source and close competitive candidates in a tight talent market
- Manage a high-volume, varied req load with minimal oversight
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure alignment with Raft’s mission and values
- Own the candidate journey from intake through offer
Requirements
- ~5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including technical/engineering roles
- Familiarity with U.S. security clearances (e.g., Secret, TS, TS/SCI)
- Experience recruiting in the defense tech, government contracting, or federal technology space
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfort owning an ATS (Greenhouse preferred) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter

Qualifications
- Proven track record of proactive sourcing and closing competitive candidates in a tight talent market
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers
- Knowledge of OFCCP / EEO compliance and structured, equitable hiring practices
Skills
- Experience recruiting for Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community, or federal-civilian programs
- Familiarity with modern software roles including Kubernetes, cloud-native, DevSecOps, data engineering, and AI/ML
- Experience recruiting business development, capture, or program/product management talent
- Knowledge of OFCCP / EEO compliance and structured, equitable hiring practices
