Technical Recruiter

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will lead Flatiron’s tech recruiting efforts in the United States. You’ll work closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and interviewers on Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and other technical teams to attract and hire world-class technologists.

Responsibilities

• Strategize on ways to successfully build talent pipelines for multiple, complex searches
• Directly source candidates through research, messaging campaigns, social media, referral generation, and events
• Own relationships with candidates from application through closing, ensuring that candidates are seamlessly moving through the interview process
• Manage offers by extending offers, negotiating, and acting as an internal advocate for candidates
• Collaborate with talent acquisition peers to learn, teach, and grow
• Support hiring for non-technical roles, early careers professionals, and openings in other markets as needed

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience helping organizations hire technical talent
• In-depth knowledge of the technical talent market in the United States
• Previous experience closing complex offers for highly competitive roles
• Strong sourcing skills, and a deep familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter
• Clear and persuasive written and verbal communicator
• Comfortable communicating with, and influencing, stakeholders and hiring managers at all levels
• Passionate about technology and the fight against cancer
• Experience working as part of an “in-house” internal recruitment team

Optional Qualifications

• Experience working with Greenhouse as an ATS and Workday as an HRIS
• Experience as an external agency recruiter

Schedule

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and 3 office days set by you and your team.

Pay

Salary Range: $88,000 - $121,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
