About the role
You’ll build the team that will define the future of the company. This is an early role where you’ll help shape our hiring philosophy, recruiting processes, and talent brand as we scale. You’ll partner directly with the Head of Talent and leadership team to identify hiring needs, source, and close exceptional candidates. You’ll help establish E2B as a destination for top engineers, builders, and operators in the developer and AI ecosystem, while ensuring every hire raises the bar.
Responsibilities
- Identify hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies
- Source and engage with exceptional candidates, especially engineers
- Design and conduct interviews to assess technical skills and cultural fit
- Closely partner with hiring managers to ensure successful hires
- Develop and refine recruiting processes and talent brand
- Work closely with the Head of Talent and leadership team to define hiring plans and processes
- Ensure every hire raises the bar for the company
Requirements
- At least 5+ years in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in high-growth startups or DevTools/AI companies
- Experience hiring technical talent, especially engineers, is essential
- Comfortable operating in early-stage environments where speed, autonomy, and ownership matter
- Proven ability to source and close strong engineering candidates in competitive markets
- Understanding of developer profiles, technical hiring signals, and engaging top technical talent
- End-to-end ownership of the recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing strategy, outreach, interview design, candidate experience, and closing
- Talent strategy expertise in partnering with founders and leaders to define hiring plans, role scorecards, and structured hiring processes
- Strong relationship-building skills, acting as a strategic partner to hiring managers
- Operational excellence in being organized, data-driven, and building scalable systems as the company grows
