About the role

As a Technical Recruiter at Candid Health, you’ll serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the Engineering, Product, and Design teams, focusing on full‑lifecycle recruiting for both specialized and generalist Software Engineers. You’ll help build the rocket ship as we fly, aiming to double the technical organization within the next year.

Responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruiting for individual‑contributor and leadership positions, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, extending offers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and optimize recruitment processes, driving initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders, including direct work with co‑founders and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in web‑scale or startup environments that maintain a high bar for talent.
• Demonstrated success in building pipelines and developing top‑of‑funnel strategy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, teammates, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Humble and team‑oriented, prioritizing collective success and valuing collaboration and diverse perspectives.
• Takes initiative, persists through setbacks, and continuously strives for excellence.
• Experienced with common recruiting tools and systems (e.g., Ashby) and able to leverage them to increase productivity.
• Uses metrics to inform hiring tactics and strategies and helps hiring managers do the same.
• Thrives in ambiguity and relentlessly focuses on driving the best outcomes for the business.

Pay

The estimated starting annual salary range is $150,000 – $185,000 USD. The actual base salary may be adjusted based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and market data.

Schedule

Candid Health operates an in‑person culture with an ideal weekly schedule of four days working from one of the offices (San Francisco, New York, or Denver) and one day working remotely.
