About the Opportunity
The Technical Program Manager II leads strategic, cross-functional technical programs from inception through completion. This role manages complex programs involving multiple teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and transparency in delivery. The position is essential for coordinating efforts across product, engineering, and site reliability teams to drive impactful initiatives that support the organization’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage comprehensive program plans including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, communication, and risk mitigation.
- Act as the primary liaison to senior leadership, communicating program status, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Build collaborative relationships across site reliability engineering, product, and engineering teams to maintain project momentum.
- Promote agile methodologies and industry best practices to facilitate cultural and process improvements.
- Serve as the escalation point for stakeholders and help resolve impediments to program progress.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical or engineering roles with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience with software development life cycle processes and defining relevant metrics.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence tools.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as SAFe or Scrum.
- Ability to navigate and manage ambiguity within complex organizational environments.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
For US-based candidates, base salary ranges from $100,700 to $181,300 per year, determined by experience, skills, certifications, and location. Compensation may include annual bonuses, equity awards, and participation in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
