This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing workflows that span algorithm development, software implementation, hardware testing, and prototype validation. The TPM will support the technical team in delivering validation milestones to ensure display compensation algorithms meet image quality requirements on hardware.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute end-to-end validation milestones spanning algorithm model development, hardware testing, prototype software validation, production software readiness, and human factors evaluations.
- Drive alignment and execution across interdependent workstreams including display hardware, testing, software, and architecture, ensuring dependencies are tracked.
- Proactively manage hardware allocation and device availability to support validation timelines.
- Continuously assess program risks, drive mitigation plans, and maintain a risk register with clear owners and impacts.
- Carefully coordinate with the engineering team to communicate program status, validation results, and risk summaries to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a technical program manager in hardware/software co-development programs. An additional 3+ years of experience in display technology, image processing, algorithm validation, or related electro-optical systems engineering is required. Prior experience with the client may be considered to supplement an applicant's years or type of experience.
Technical Skills
- Experience leading complex, multi-workstream execution across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
- Proven ability to manage programs with significant hardware dependencies, including device allocation and prototype build schedules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for presenting technical status and risk assessments to senior leadership.
- Experience with display compensation algorithms and related image quality pipelines.
- Familiarity with display technology testing methodologies.
