Role Summary
This technical program manager role is responsible for overseeing large-scale software development and testing projects within a dynamic technology environment. The position requires a strategic leader capable of managing multiple programs, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage comprehensive technology programs, applying program management principles, tools, and techniques.
- Initiate new programs and build alignment across teams to define objectives, program structures, and cross-functional support strategies.
- Develop accurate project plans with effective risk management and continuous process improvements.
- Apply technology solutions to enhance program workflows and provide transparent visibility to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and other relevant teams to resolve complex technical challenges proactively.
- Establish governance frameworks, including quarterly and monthly reviews, to track progress and ensure quality, delivery, and customer impact.
- Maintain strict confidentiality concerning sensitive information and ensure program compliance with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for innovative process improvements connected to organizational vision and goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear updates on program status and critical issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing program data and implementing innovative solutions to meet strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading software development or testing projects as a Technical Program Manager.
- 5+ years of experience managing programs using Jira.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Proven success in managing complex, large-scale programs with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of program management frameworks, including initiation, work breakdown, scheduling, reporting, risk, and change management.
- Ability to grasp a wide range of technical topics and technologies relevant to program execution.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team collaboration and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process efficiency.
- Availability to work remotely in an approved location.
