Technical Program manager

About the role

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for working with a US-based TPM in executing programs/projects including driving schedules, tracking of issues, facilitating and reporting on program progress, and leading a broad set of partner teams to deliver these programs.

Responsibilities

• Working with a US-based TPM in executing programs/projects including driving schedules, tracking of issues, facilitating and reporting on program progress, and leading a broad set of partner teams to deliver these programs.
• Keeping the program on schedule, budget, and driving any product changes required to ensure that the program meets the requirements set forth in the Product Requirements.
• Working directly with internal and external development teams, Industrial Design, test and validation, reliability, compliance, marketing, supply chain and sourcing teams.

Qualifications

• BSE in Hardware Engineering or related field with 5+ years of related experience
• Experience with design and manufacturing processes
• Excellent people and communication skills, fluent in Mandarin and English, Vietnamese a plus
• Knowledge of the hardware development processes
• Knowledge of Bill of Material structuring including related files and change management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design activities and development schedules
• The following qualifications are strongly desired:
• Experience with supplier qualification and ongoing quality monitoring
• Ability to manage both internal and external contract design resources through the prototype, design validation, production and process validation phases
• Experience with gaming and/or entertainment consumer products
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written form, as well as comprehend and assimilate technical concepts across multiple disciplines
• Experience working with international development and manufacturing teams

Domestic and international travel is required
