About the role
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for working with a US-based TPM in executing programs/projects including driving schedules, tracking of issues, facilitating and reporting on program progress, and leading a broad set of partner teams to deliver these programs.
Responsibilities
- Working with a US-based TPM in executing programs/projects including driving schedules, tracking of issues, facilitating and reporting on program progress, and leading a broad set of partner teams to deliver these programs.
- Keeping the program on schedule, budget, and driving any product changes required to ensure that the program meets the requirements set forth in the Product Requirements.
- Working directly with internal and external development teams, Industrial Design, test and validation, reliability, compliance, marketing, supply chain and sourcing teams.
Qualifications
- BSE in Hardware Engineering or related field with 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with design and manufacturing processes
- Excellent people and communication skills, fluent in Mandarin and English, Vietnamese a plus
- Knowledge of the hardware development processes
- Knowledge of Bill of Material structuring including related files and change management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design activities and development schedules
- The following qualifications are strongly desired:
- Experience with supplier qualification and ongoing quality monitoring
- Ability to manage both internal and external contract design resources through the prototype, design validation, production and process validation phases
- Experience with gaming and/or entertainment consumer products
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written form, as well as comprehend and assimilate technical concepts across multiple disciplines
- Experience working with international development and manufacturing teams
