Technical Product Manager - Payments - Vice President

Responsibilities
- Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Own, maintain, and develop a product and client backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Establish product KPIs/OKRs and analytics instrumentation to measure usage, satisfaction, and business impact; run experiments and A/B tests to improve engagement
- Optimize adoption to drive desired business outcomes
- Manage individual product modules and team workstreams to push product initiatives into the market including alternative forms of data delivery and AI capabilities
- Support achieving sales goal targets, supports commercialization by analyzing client target lists, participate in internal and external events, build and maintain competitive intelligence, and identify new data sources to keep the product relevant and differentiated
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction
- Champion customer-centric design and feedback loops, leveraging insights to continuously refine and enhance product offerings
- Drive the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI and advanced analytics, to differentiate products and create new revenue streams
- Lead stakeholder communications, providing clear updates on product progress, challenges, and opportunities to executive leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Technical expertise and experience in data analytics (e.g., SQL or Python)
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, evaluation metrics, drift, explainability) and translating them into product features and controls
- Management consulting skillset (problem solving, impact orientation, business understanding, program management, executive presence, top down communication, presentation skills)
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable product strategies
- Exhibit leadership in driving cross-team collaboration and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Utilize exceptional project management abilities to deliver products on time and within budget
- Display a results-oriented mindset, consistently achieving ambitious goals and driving measurable business outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline, Masters in math, statistics, analytics or Business is preferred
- Experience in the payments industry and/or fintech or technology-enabled industries is a plus
- Experience in creating solutions leveraging AI and fluency with the different AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences and build consensus across diverse stakeholders
- Show adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving market landscape
