Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owes and maintains a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Build the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Drive the ChaseNet product roadmap and execution plan, aligning strategic priorities to sequenced technology releases and measurable business outcomes
  • Partner with Consumer and Community Banking and Payments stakeholders to leverage issuer and processing data to design and deliver enhancements to the ChaseNet value proposition, including reducing friction and costs
  • Lead discovery and ideation to define product features, articulate the customer and operational problem statements, and translate concepts into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones
  • Serve as the primary product interface to Technology teams, managing backlog prioritization, writing high-quality user stories, and driving delivery execution through agile ceremonies and disciplined release management
  • Drive cross-functional delivery coordination across Fraud/Risk, Disputes/Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Commercialization to ensure solutions are operationally viable, controlled, and ready for market adoption
  • Quantify and communicate business cases for priority initiatives, including market sizing, pricing and economics, cost-to-serve impacts, and performance improvement potential, and use data to track realized value post-launch

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Proven product ownership experience leading end-to-end technology delivery, from discovery, release execution and post-launch performance management
  • Deep understanding of payments processing concepts, including authorization flows, fraud controls, disputes/chargebacks, and operational impacts on merchants and cardholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across complex stakeholder groups, including product, technology, operations, risk, and commercial teams, with experience engaging senior leaders
  • Strong analytical capability to develop business cases, define success metrics, and use data to prioritize work and validate outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between business objectives and technical implementation detail. Demonstrate executive-ready communication, facilitation of cross-functional decision forums, conflict resolution, and influencing without direct authority
  • Experience with delivery tooling: JIRA (or equivalent work management tools) and documentation practices suitable for technology delivery and auditability
  • Agile delivery and product management: Scrum, backlog management, user stories and acceptance criteria, release planning, stakeholder management
  • Process and operating model design: mapping complex end-to-end flows, identifying control points, and designing scalable operational handoffs

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Experience working on issuer-acquirer ecosystem initiatives, including use of issuer data to improve authorization outcomes and fraud performance
  • Experience designing dispute and operational efficiency improvements, including reduction of friction and cost in dispute processes
  • Familiarity with card-linked offers or merchant engagement platforms that enable targeted access to cardholders
  • Background partnering with control functions (Risk, Compliance, Legal) to deliver controlled product changes in regulated environments
