Technical Operations Coordinator (Contract-1 year)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Technical Operations Coordinator (Contract) to join the Airbus Training Center department in Miami, Florida. The role involves supporting flight simulator technicians and engineers with maintenance operations and logistics support.

Responsibilities

• Support flight simulator technicians and engineers in executing preventive and corrective maintenance on flight simulator equipment.
• Manage logistics operations, including part ordering, stock control, inventory tracking, and component staging.
• Operate flexibly in a 24/7 maintenance environment, handling customer service calls, responding to AOG events, and making swift operational decisions.
• Keep customers and Technical Leads informed of maintenance statuses and estimated repair times, escalating critical issues when necessary.
• Maintain continuous improvement by monitoring daily operational processes and providing feedback to enhance safety, efficiency, and training satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing electronic systems, aircraft avionics, computers, or related technical systems down to the component level.
• Education: Preferred Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience and education will also be considered.
• Technical proficiency in commercial jet aircraft systems preventive and corrective maintenance repair.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Benefits

The position offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including relocation assistance for qualified positions. The salary range is $30.98 - 33.56/hour, with actual minimum and maximum based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
