The EMT responds to emergency calls to provide efficient care to the ill and injured.

Responsibilities

• 65% - Emergency Response: Perform Emergency Services response operations duties as an Emergency Medical Technician and in support of Fire, hazardous material & rescue technicians; Develop and maintain cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills proficiency through application, professional development, knowledge of department Standard Operating Guidelines & applicable regulations, training and physical fitness
• 35% - Administration: Maintains compliance with required Programs. Maintains EMT certification and medical control sponsorship as required

Requirements

A high school diploma and experience or training within the specific work area. Active EMT certification.

Schedule

Standard hours: 19 hours per week.
