STAD Technical Associate II Job Overview: You’ll be part of the MCPC Information Technology Asset Disposition Production team that sorts, tests, erases, validates, and clean & preps assets for disposal and remarketing. Our team is highly knowledgeable on completing their tasks and each member is an excellent trainer to show new employees how to complete their objectives. Duties & Responsibilities Your Duties Will Include Sorting assets into an asset management databaseTesting assets with third party software to capture specs and data from assetsEnsuring the erasure applications complete data destruction and validatePhysically removing identifiable markings from devices and cleaning the assetUse a pallet jack to transport assets around the warehouseUse a computer and peripherals to collect, record, and analyze informationHave the ability to train other employees on all functions of production You’ll Also Need To Be Able To Lift up to 49 poundsPush utility carts up to 60 poundsStand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shiftsUse carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items aroundAdhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards Qualifications At least 18 years of ageKnowledgeable of electronic equipment Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment Eagerness and Willingness to learn, be a team player, & attention to detail What it’s like to work at MCPC STAD SafetyPrimary objective to create and keep a safe environment.SecurityEnsure the correct security protocols are adhered to according to company and certifications held.ActivityMoving around the warehouse and working a standing station(s) to complete tasks.TemperatureWarm summers and cooler winters- the warehouse is not air conditioned.Dress CodeFollow the handbook- Mainly wear what is comfortable, MCPC t-shirts will be given.
