Job Description

The Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the assigned team, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of projects. The role involves identifying and resolving issues that impact team performance, implementing corrective actions, and supporting team members and providing technical solution support. The Technical Manager will also oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee team performance, addressing issues to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage resource allocation, ensuring alignment with project needs and timelines.
  • Attend client meetings to provide technical support and coordinate project requirements with the team.
  • Interview and onboard new team members, providing necessary training and support.
  • Foster team growth through mentorship and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in a team leadership or management role; 3+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, migration, or ETL projects.
  • Experience in Epic systems migration or strong knowledge of Epic system implementation, including timelines, workflows, and data formats.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in healthcare environments, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Proven ability to evaluate and enhance team performance, implement corrective actions, and improve efficiency.
  • Experience in project evaluation, monitoring, and resource management, ensuring successful completion of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges and optimize team performance.
