The primary location for job responsibilities is at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Job Summary

Develops and delivers engaging training programs and learning resources that help faculty, staff, and students effectively use academic, operational, and research technologies. Collaborates with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create accessible, interactive learning experiences that support technology adoption and institutional goals.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops training content for online, blended, and microlearning formats using LMS platforms and authoring tools
  • Creates and maintains training resources such as quick guides, videos, and job aids
  • Facilitates webinars, workshops, and coaching sessions for faculty, staff, and students
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and objectives
  • Ensures accessibility and compliance in all learning materials
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting for training-related issues
  • Affords assistance in evaluating training effectiveness and recommending improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field.
  • Required Experience: One (1) year of IT, training, instructional design, or technical writing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (Canvas, D2L, Blackboard) and eLearning tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508) and Universal Design for Learning principles
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools (Microsoft Copilot) and FERPA/PCI compliance

Additional Preferred Qualifications
