The primary location for job responsibilities is at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Job Summary
Develops, tests, maintains, analyzes, and delivers training programs and related materials to faculty, staff, and students in support of University academic, operational, and research technologies. Develops training curriculum and practical exercises and facilitates online and classroom training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Designs and delivers training programs using LMS platforms and authoring tools; creates online, blended, and microlearning content
- Leads training workstreams for campus initiatives; manage timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables using project tools
- Facilitates webinars, workshops, and coaching sessions; ensure accessibility and engagement
- Evaluates training effectiveness via analytics and feedback; implement improvements
- Provides advanced troubleshooting and support for complex technical learning issues
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
- Experience: Five (5) years of related training or technical writing experience demonstrating a progression of dealing with increasingly complex projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of LMS platforms such as D2L Brightspace, Blackboard Learn, Canvas; eLearning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia; and video platforms such as Kaltura is a plus
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508) and compliance best practices
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools (Microsoft Copilot) and FERPA/PII compliance
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Education Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, LMS platforms (Canvas, D2L, Blackboard), and eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia), video and multimedia production
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and compliance best practices
- Familiarity with Smartsheet and other project or task management tools for organizing timelines and deliverables
- Knowledge of learning analytics and data visualization tools (Power BI); ability to evaluate and improve training effectiveness
- Experience with AI-enabled tools (Microsoft Copilot, M365 Copilot) and prompt design for learning content
