About the role
The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager oversees data center infrastructure expansion projects in support of U.S. Government customers. They lead cross-functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Use judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
- Ensure data center capacity is delivered ahead of customer demand.
Requirements
- Experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint.
- Experience with Tableau, KanBan, Playbook, SQL and systems integration is a plus.
- US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture/design, mechanical/electrical engineering, software/network engineering, data center infrastructure/operations, or construction management.
- Master's degree or above in engineering, management, or technology, or 3+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience.
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software).
- Varying scenarios of infrastructure builds experience.
Skills
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Calibrated judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, and leadership.
