Technical Expert/Functional Expert (Storage)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, tune, and support the following configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level storage troubleshooting in support of virtualization products such as VMware, Xen, and Solaris containers.
• Configure, tune, test, and troubleshoot advanced level storage for cloud-based implementations, such as HADOOP.
• Configure, tune, test, and troubleshoot advanced level storage for Red Hat, SUSE, and Solaris Operating Systems, relating to file service and FC connectivity.
• Install, configure, tune, troubleshoot, and administer SGI IRIX based operating system on SGI systems with direct attached and FC SAN attached storage.
• Install, configure, tune, troubleshoot, and administer Network Appliance clustered servers with direct attached and FC SAN storage.
• Manage data protection, disaster recovery, and data replication using ServiceNow for trouble tickets.
• Experience with NetApp, IBM, Hitachi, Rubrik, Cloud Object Storage, Brocade, and Cisco.
• IO years' experience (with degree or 1 S without) in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise with the skills listed above.

  Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance.
  • US citizenship required.
  • IAT Level II Certification Required.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  Pay

  The likely salary range is up to $225K. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
