Technical Engineering Sales Support

About the role

Handles engineering & technical product quotations and support to help the sales efforts of the outside sales staff.

Responsibilities

• Equipment selections & quotations on all JMP products as requested by JMP staff and customers, including reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Provide design assistance to consulting engineers: follow‑up emails with product selections, submittals, schedules, and specifications on every equipment selection request received.
• Support outside sales by assisting with requested tasks in a timely manner, including:
  • Product quotations
  • Submittals
  • Prior approval letters
  • General correspondence with customers
  • Enter factory CQM’s
• Become proficient in company computer‑based business systems and equipment quotation and selection programs.
• Coordinate Hyfab requests from local engineers to Hyfab department to ensure all required and requested information is given to the customer correctly and in a timely manner.
• Assist in setting up and helping with logistical items at local seminars and training classes.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Communication skills: written and oral
• Proficient in all equipment selection software
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
