Responsibilities
- Assist Director Sales & Marketing, Regional Sales Managers, and Sales Project Engineers in promoting blow molding machinery and systems.
- Support the quoting process by conducting research, providing specialized information, and creating engineering requests for special machine features.
- Maintain and update the configuration database on the mainframe.
- Convert sold machine orders into Machine Order Specification Sheets (MOSS) and lead MOSS meetings with engineering and production teams.
- Provide regular status updates on machine orders, including timeline-specific work in progress and projected completions.
- Communicate project updates between engineers, sales, and customers, including Gantt charting and major milestones.
- Serve as liaison between engineering and customers for time-sensitive approvals on machine layouts and revisions.
- Coordinate machine acceptance, including scheduling, preparing materials, and facilitating customer arrival.
- Support customers and salespeople throughout the machine acceptance process.
- Coordinate with materials department for shipping arrangements and confirm costs and tracking with customer locations.
- Establish and maintain post-acceptance punch lists for handling prior to shipment.
- Assign CSM numbers to track customer supplier components while in-house.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or two (2) year technical degree; or two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in technical sales support, project coordination, or manufacturing preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems and project tracking tools is a plus.
