Technical Engineering Manager
About the Role
The Technical Engineering Manager (Front-End/Back-End) is a dynamic leadership role responsible for fostering a high-performing culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement across engineering teams. The Engineering Manager partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering execution with business strategy, define and deliver on key OKRs, and drive forward-thinking technology solutions. This role involves leading talent development, staying ahead of emerging trends, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring excellence in execution for both Front-End and Back-End initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with strong communication and influencing skills, a deep technical background, and proven success in guiding engineering teams to deliver impactful results.

- Measure and improve Front-End/Back-End team efficiency and processes
Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications or specialized training in Front-End/Back-End technologies
- 7+ years of industry experience in software engineering
- 1-3 years in a leadership or management role
- High-speed internet connection at home
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams
- Ability to influence and navigate organizational dynamics effectively
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Pay
The salary range for this role is $141,218.77 to $209,161.18 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay-for-performance company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
