What You Will Do

  • Create, update, and maintain detailed tech packs in Adobe Illustrator
  • Partner directly with domestic and international factories on samples, specs, corrections, trims, fabrics, artwork, and production details
  • Review samples and provide clear, actionable comments to vendors
  • Support categories including graphic tees and woven apparel
  • Assist with garment construction details, measurements, BOMs, artwork placement, color callouts, and production notes
  • Work cross-functionally with production, development, design, and leadership to ensure accuracy from sample stage through bulk production
  • Track samples, approvals, deadlines, shipments, and production follow-up
  • Maintain organized files, updated tech packs, and production records
  • Help keep day-to-day production and office coordination running smoothly
  • Write strong, professional emails with clear next steps, approvals, and corrections

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience as a Technical Designer, Production Assistant, Product Developer, or in a similar apparel production role
  • Strong Adobe Illustrator skills
  • Experience creating tech packs for apparel
  • Experience working directly with factories, both domestic and international (preferred)
  • Knowledge of graphic tees, woven garments, trims, fabrications, screen print or embroidery placement, and garment construction
  • Strong understanding of measurements, fit comments, construction details, and production terminology
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple styles and shifting priorities
  • Strong written communication skills, especially over email
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with tight timelines
  • Willingness to jump in across production, development, operations, and coordination needs

The Ideal Candidate

You have a strong technical production background in apparel and know how to speak factory language. You are sharp, fast, organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. You are just as ready to update a tech pack as you are to review samples, send vendor follow-ups, visit a factory, or help keep the entire development process moving.

Work Setup

  • Onsite role in Los Angeles
  • Open to full-time hours during the contract period or part-time ongoing will convert in-house permanent
