About the role

ALL4 is seeking a Technical Consultant to serve as a subject-matter expert in key ALL4 Technical Areas (water, waste, air, health and safety, and others). The role involves project execution, implementation, client and prospect communications, and providing technical advice. This position also includes a secondary component of effective project management and traditional client expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate subject-matter expertise in a subset of key regulatory or technical service areas, including water, waste, air, health and safety, and general environmental regulatory and compliance knowledge.
  • Prepare and execute high-level technical work individually, with the capacity to direct others.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge for a nuanced understanding of a Technical Area beyond entry-level comprehension.
  • Build effective teams and enroll members as necessary.
  • Communicate all facets of day-to-day work within the Technical Area to both internal teams and clients.
  • Educate the company on obligations and considerations of existing clients and prospects within a Technical Area.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory organizations, industry technical experts/peers.
  • Provide technical interpretation, review, and strategic analysis of Federal, state, and local environmental regulations for clients.
  • Engage with senior resources to ensure best decision-making practices for high-visibility and high-liability issues.
  • Prepare and present conference papers or presentations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed personal utilization goals and profit targets.
  • Develop technical approach and cost assumptions for proposals and scope of work documents.
  • Utilize ALL4 project management support systems to ensure project profitability and client deliverable compliance.
  • Assume technical responsibility and maintain routine and timely communication with all project participants.
  • Manage annual client revenues as collaboratively determined by the leadership team.
  • Plan, organize, and execute projects within your technical discipline while serving as the client’s primary point of contact.
  • Ensure project compliance with ALL4 Quality Assurance guidelines.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Coordinate staff as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Engineering or applicable science degree.
  • Collective experience equivalent to 5 years of consulting or industry experience in an Environmental technical discipline.
  • Advanced level knowledge in one or more key technical areas impacting clients.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and delegate workflow proactively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong document production skills (proficiency in Word and Excel) and technical writing ability.
