Technical Consultant
About the role
Box is growing fast, engaging directly with the largest and most complex enterprises in the world. We are seeking a consultant and technologist to join our team and help solve our customers' most complex challenges through the application of thought leadership and technical domain expertise.
Responsibilities
- Advising enterprises on designing applications for custom document vaults
- Helping enterprises migrate millions of files into Box
- Advising enterprises on integrating Box into custom CRMs
- Solving complex technical challenges for enterprises
Requirements
- 4+ years technical experience
- 4+ years customer-facing experience, preferably in a consultative role
- 4+ years of experience working with SaaS and Cloud technologies
- Comfortable working with one or more of the following: Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or .NET
- Understanding of the application development lifecycle, RESTful API design concepts, and scripting against APIs
Qualifications
- Familiarity with OAuth, SAML, OpenID, Active Directory and/or Single Sign-on standards
- Experience developing an application
- Experience with ETL
- Familiarity with iOS and/or Android mobile platforms
Skills
- A growth mindset and ability to leverage AI to make faster, smarter decisions
- Customer-facing and consultative experience
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with ambiguity
- Technical skills in Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or .NET
- Experience with the application development lifecycle and RESTful API design concepts
Benefits
Box offers a competitive compensation package, including a range of $121,500 USD - $152,000 USD, based on experience and location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
Pay
The United States Pay Range for this role is $121,500 USD - $152,000 USD.
Schedule
Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week.
