Technical Business Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite 3 times a week) – also open to Iselin, NJ. This is a contract-to-hire role; candidates must be able to work on Experis’ W2.

About the role

Join the leadership support team as a Technical Business Manager, playing a crucial role in the daily operation and strategic planning of the technology function. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, analytical thinking, and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, track, and manage strategic initiatives, OKRs, and departmental goals.
• Build and maintain high-quality executive dashboards, business updates, and decision-support decks.
• Manage the technology department’s budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning in partnership with Finance and HR.
• Provide oversight and reporting on key technology programs and projects.
• Develop polished PowerPoint presentations and reports for internal and external consumption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical business management, COO office, or business analyst capacity.
• Proven experience as a cross-functional Technical Business Manager or COO within a fast-paced environment.
• Deep expertise in PowerPoint.
• Good experience with Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and business judgment.
