Technical Business Analyst with .NET and CBAP (In-Person Interview)

About the role

This is an urgent requirement for a Technical Business Analyst with .NET and CBAP (In-Person Interview) position with our client, the NY State - Department of Public Service.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
• Facilitates and guides requirements sessions with IT and DPS business staff.
• Communicates the business process requirements to IT staff, program staff and stakeholder.
• Develops and documents Business Requirements for the project using defined ITS template and standards.
• Develops, analyzes and revises system diagrams (flowcharts, state diagrams, strategy maps, etc.) as needed on the project.
• Ensures that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each phase of analysis and testing.
• Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
• Participates in developing test plans for the project and in overseeing system changes or enhancements, to ensure user and program requirements are met.

Requirements

• Experience (12+ Years)
• 76 months experience working on Business Requirements Project, as lead Analyst, which involved the application of strategies to gather and document business process requirements of new application.
• 76 months experience working as the Lead Business Analyst on projects on which they utilized recognized business process management methodologies (e.g., elicitation and documenting of business process requirements, business process modelling, As-Is and To-Be workflow development and gap analysis, UML etc.) to define and analyze current business processes in order to remodel/design the new process and improve on the existing ones.
• 48 months experience developing and implementing multi-tier .Net Framework and .Net Core web applications using C# code leveraging ASP.Net patterns: Web Forms and Model-View-Controller (MVC).
• 48 months experience working with Oracle databases version 11.2.0.1+ including creating SQL queries to validate correct back-end processing.
• 48 months experience with planning, coordinating, developing test cases and test plans to ensure user and program requirements are met.
• Possession of a valid (active) IIBA CBAP certification or a PMI PBA certification.
• 76 months experience with internal and external stakeholder communications and outreach, including the development of presentations and other materials that promote the rethinking of core business processes and envisioning of a reengineered environment.
