Technical Assistant - Cybersecurity

About the Role
You’ll work with, and report directly, to the Sr. Vice President – Chief Information Security Officer. Your role, as a technical operations and administration lead, is an opportunity to experience first-hand the ways in which the executives work. Your mix of work will be split, roughly 50/50, between project-based work and executive assistant responsibilities. Responsibilities
Projects and Lead Team Support (50%)
- Create informational, engaging, and visually appealing presentations for town halls, Ops dashboards, and all-hands meetings.
- Champion simplifying and automating work where possible, using and experimenting with AI tools (e.g., piloting new tech or customizing existing solutions).
- Schedule lead team meeting topics and keep time in meetings.
- Partner with teams across Human Resources, Enterprise Communications, Finance, and other business units at Lilly.
- Manage budget oversight, tracking actual spend, monitoring variances, reporting to finance and senior leadership, and maintaining financial templates.
- Oversee headcount tracking, partnering with HR, finance, and cyber leadership to monitor open and filled positions, staff movement (new hires, departures, internal transfers).
- Demonstrate strong writing skills and provide feedback on confidential executive documents.
Administrative Support to the Senior Vice President – Chief Information Security Officer (50%)
- Show strong attention to detail in scheduling and maintain complex calendars, proactively coordinating with internal and external collaborators.
- Uphold the highest standard of integrity and honesty when handling confidential information across the company and at all levels.
- Perform additional scheduling duties to support peers across the Tech@Lilly lead team and Cyber Lead Team, including directing local activities and special functions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a matrix organization or minimum of 2 years post-Bachelor degree.
- Legally authorized to be employed in the United States; Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status.

Additional Preferences

Schedule
- Office presence: 3-4 days per week in the Lilly Corporate Center, with typical working hours from 9am to 5pm EST.
- Occasional support outside normal hours, especially during executive travel.
- Travel: 0-10%, depending on preferences and interests.
Pay
The anticipated wage for this position is $79,500 - $116,600. Full-time equivalent employees are also eligible for a company bonus (based on company and individual performance).
