Technical and Quality Director
Summary
Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Technical Manager with at least 10 years of experience in technical management of product processes and applications in nickel or other metals industry, with a minimum of 5 years in the aero industry including supervisory or managerial responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a BS in Metallurgical Engineering/Material Science, with an advanced degree (MS or PhD) being a plus. High temperature nickel base superalloy melting/conversion experience and knowledge of AS9100 are desirable. Excellent written and oral communications skills and computer literacy are required.
About the Role
The Technical Manager will lead and manage product processes and applications within the company, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role requires a strong technical and/or quality engineering background, along with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
Responsibilities

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years in the aero industry, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities
- High temperature nickel base superalloy melting/conversion experience is a plus
- Knowledge of AS9100

- Strong Technical and/or Quality engineering background

- Computer literate in database manipulation, data analysis, and result documentation
Education and Experience
