Job Overview
The Partnership for a Lead-Free Future (PLF) is a global, multi-stakeholder initiative hosted by UNICEF that aims to accelerate progress toward eliminating childhood lead poisoning. This consultancy seeks a consultant to coordinate and support implementation of PLF’s country engagement and policy portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support implementation of PLF’s country engagement and policy portfolio.
- Strengthen advocacy pathways, support country champions, and connect country progress to regional and global policy opportunities.
- Ensure advocacy efforts are informed by credible technical evidence.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Global Health, Public Policy, International Development, International Relations, Environmental Policy, or another relevant field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in global health, environmental health, policy, advocacy, international development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex multi-country and/or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Experience supporting government engagement, policy processes, regional or global advocacy initiatives, or partnership coordination.
- Proven experience translating technical evidence into policy, advocacy and knowledge products.
- Strong understanding of public health, environmental health, policy, and international development.
- Strong project management and programme coordination skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership coordination skills.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple partners and translate technical evidence into strategic recommendations and advocacy products.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
