Job Description

The Contract Duration is 12 months and the working arrangement is remote.

About the Role

UNICEF works globally to protect children's rights and help them reach their full potential. This consultancy supports content creation, audience engagement, and partnership building for the Lead-Free Future Secretariat.

Responsibilities

  • Create and produce digital communications products such as newsletters, reports, social media content, and web content.
  • Organize webinars and support high-level events.
  • Manage websites and digital communication platforms.
  • Develop digital communications content for international organizations, partnerships, or development programs.
  • Use Mailchimp or similar newsletter platforms.
  • Use Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design software.
  • Manage social media and perform analytics.
  • Work in multi-stakeholder partnerships.
  • Understand public health, environmental health, or child health issues.

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, Public Health, Marketing, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in communications, digital communications, advocacy, public information, or partner engagement.
  • Experience supporting communications for international organizations, UN agencies, partnerships, NGOs, or development programs.
  • Fluency in English.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and content development skills.
  • Experience managing websites and digital communication platforms.
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp or similar newsletter platforms.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder partnerships.
  • Understanding of public health, environmental health, or child health issues is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.
