Technical Account Manager (West)

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you'll play a pivotal role in driving customer adoption and ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing success of the Wiz platform.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of the Wiz platform
- Provide both strategic and technical guidance to customers throughout their Wiz journey, from onboarding to operationalization
- Serve as the primary technical contact for your book of customers, addressing technical questions and issues via email, meetings, Slack, and support tickets
- Monitor emerging cloud security threats and continuously develop your domain expertise
- Stay updated on new Wiz features and functionality, and assist customers in accelerating their success
- Ensure customers are delighted and see value from their Wiz purchase, setting measurable goals aligned with their security and compliance objectives
- Drive customer adoption and satisfaction, identifying opportunities for expansion and assisting in securing renewals
- Build and scale a world-class TAM organization, mentoring associate TAMs, and developing technical subject-matter expertise
Requirements
Required:
- Overall 5-8+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, preferably supporting a cloud or cloud-security product
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of cloud services and architecture of at least one major CSP (AWS/GCP/Azure/OCI)
- Familiarity with cloud-security best practices, common threat models, and CNAPP use cases
- Familiarity with container technologies, DevOps technologies, and operating system concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Proven track record of managing a book of business with 5-10+ customers
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Preferred:
- CSP certification (e.g., Certified Solutions Architect, Certified DevOps Engineer)
- Security certifications or experience in addressing cloud-security challenges
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and version control systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues

Pay
Compensation for this full-time position includes base salary + bonus + equity + benefits. The US base salary range for this role is $100,000—$125,000 USD. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need for visa sponsorship.
