About the role

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact and trusted partner for customers once they sign with Escape. Your responsibilities include guiding customers through post-PoC deployment, configuration, and integration, managing renewals and expansions, and providing technical guidance and automation support.

Responsibilities

  • Take over after POCs, guiding customers through production deployment, configuration, and integration, including automation with Python scripting as needed.
  • Own the long-term customer relationship, being the trusted technical partner for security, engineering, and product teams.
  • Monitor usage, adoption, and security impact; proactively identify risks, opportunities, and expansion paths.
  • Answer technical questions, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with Engineering on escalations, and ensure smooth production operations.
  • Feed the product loop by collecting structured feedback, identifying friction points, and working with Product & Engineering to influence the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Proven Professional: 3+ years of experience in a deep tech environment. 1-2 years of consulting experience is a plus.
  • Technical Background: Strong understanding of software and SaaS products, experience in Python required, back-end engineering preferred.
  • Customer-Oriented: Passionate about helping clients succeed, excellent communication skills, and a knack for building strong relationships.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Able to quickly identify issues and work through solutions independently or with the support of the engineering team.
  • Team Player: Collaborates well with other teams, including engineering, product, and sales, to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Able to travel on-site: Enjoy visiting customers at conferences and their offices, hosting workshops, and running POCs for their team on-site.
