About the Role
St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma is seeking a highly skilled Sonographer (Ultrasound Tech) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, providing exceptional care and making a meaningful impact in Oklahoma. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative, including but not limited to:
- Abdominal
- OB/GYN
- Small Parts
- Arterial and Venous Vascular exams
- Interventional guidance procedures
- Work independently to provide optimal images for diagnosis
- Assist in patient transport
- Provide copies of images for patient care
- Proficiently provide pertinent patient/procedure information and send images for offsite review
- Become proficient in the use of Cerner for patient/reporting information entry and review
- Assist physicians/radiologists with interventional exams
- On-call duties are required
Requirements
- Registered by the ARDMS in Vascular preferred; other registries a plus/benefit
- Must obtain registry from ARDMS or equivalent with Vascular certification within two years of employment and maintain this registry/certification annually
- Additional registry in cardiac and/or OB/GYN, Abdominal/general, or others preferred
- BLS required within six months of employment
- Previous ultrasound experience required
- Must successfully complete the pre-employment assessment
- Typing and basic computer skills required
