If you're mechanically curious, analytically driven, and energized by solving difficult technical problems, we'd love to talk with you.

  • Gain experience across electromechanical systems, PLCs, controls, embedded devices, and networking
  • Join a collaborative, fast-paced team that values problem-solving and technical expertise
  • Take ownership of meaningful technical challenges from diagnosis through resolution

Responsibilities

As the primary technical support contact for hospitals, service partners, and field technicians, you will:

  • Perform remote diagnostics on electromechanical, PLC-controlled, and motor-driven systems deployed in healthcare environments
  • Troubleshoot motors, sensors, actuators, relays, control circuits, and connectivity-related issues
  • Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and embedded computing platforms (such as Raspberry Pi) to identify and resolve system failures
  • Guide field technicians and hospital personnel through structured troubleshooting procedures and electrical testing processes
  • Conduct and document root cause analyses for recurring, complex, or critical equipment failures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to drive timely issue resolution
  • Create and maintain troubleshooting documentation, knowledge base articles, and CRM case records
  • Provide calm, professional guidance during high-priority customer situations
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends, to support 24/7 system reliability

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related technical field OR equivalent hands-on experience
  • 2-4 years of experience troubleshooting industrial, automation, manufacturing, or electromechanical equipment
  • Experience working with motors, motor controllers, sensors, relays, control systems, and equipment connectivity
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, continuity testers, and oscilloscopes
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts including IP addressing, connectivity troubleshooting, and device communications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing technical support, field service, contact center, or product support environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PLC-controlled systems and interpreting ladder logic
  • Exposure to Raspberry Pi, embedded Linux, or similar embedded platforms used for diagnostics and data collection
  • Experience supporting automation, robotics, healthcare technology, industrial equipment, or control systems
