Team Support Staff - BRAINS Clinic (Full-Time)

As the third largest non-profit behavioral health system in the country, our 220-acre main campus and network of clinical sites across Michigan provide a wide range of services, including a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center, outpatient and inpatient care, partial hospitalization, assessment and testing, residential and addiction treatment, crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. We also offer on-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains.
Responsibilities
- Provide front-office and administrative support in person and by phone, including greeting visitors, answering and routing calls, and responding to inquiries professionally
- Maintain calendars, schedules, department records, medical records, and confidential files with accuracy and discretion
- Perform data entry, filing, scanning, document management, and transcription or editing of correspondence as needed
- Support clinical and program staff with documentation, transition clinic assistance, and general office coordination
- Release medical information in accordance with policy to support continuity of care, billing, and insurance requirements
- Assist persons served with account questions, balance inquiries, and service charges; collect and verify payments and balance daily cash sheets when assigned
- Order office supplies and support day-to-day office operations in a fast-paced or high-stress environment
- Promote a respectful, customer-focused environment aligned with Pine Rest’s Model of Care; role model professionalism, integrity, and organizational values
- Maintain required training and competencies and perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of related administrative or support experience required
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow independently
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to culturally inclusive, compassionate service
- Valid Michigan driver’s license may be required

Pay
The equivalent base pay range for this position is $15.57 - $21.79 per hour. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.

- Schedule may vary based on program needs
- Office-based role with minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions
