Support Staff - Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities, personal hygiene, and community engagement.
• Support behavioral and complex needs with patience and compassion.
• Help participants set and achieve personal goals in areas such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships, promote independence, and encourage participation in enjoyable activities.
• Take initiative and work under trusted leadership to ensure participant well‑being.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma required; six months of experience in human services or care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record and access to a registered vehicle.
• Skills: communication, adaptability, teamwork, time management, reliability.
• Essential behaviors: patience, compassion, responsibility.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurance, and a desire to help others live fulfilling lives in the community.
