Direct Support Staff - Full-time and Part-time

About the role

We now offer a Sign-on Bonus and Referral Bonus. QC caregivers work with individuals and small groups, providing the support and attention they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals in achieving their goals.
• Helping individuals overcome barriers to self-care.
• Maintaining a safe environment for clients.
• Cooking nutritious meals and snacks with clients.
• Encouraging physical activity and exercising with clients.
• Teaching clients how to maintain a clean and organized home.
• Assisting with medication administration according to doctor's orders.
• Assisting with personal hygiene and bathroom needs.
• Aiding with mobility as needed.
• Transporting clients to necessary activities.
• Accompanying clients to social and recreational activities.
• Completing documentation on client status and support provided.
• Attending meetings and training as required.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a State of AZ Department of Public Safety background check.
• (Ideally) Obtain an AZ Driver’s license.

Qualifications

The position is entry-level and supports people with disabilities in group home settings. Full-time or part-time positions are available, with starting pay from $18.35/hour DOE. We offer flexible hours, paid vacation and sick leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time positions 30 hours/week or more), free childcare, and a 401K plan after one year, with a minimum requirement of 21 years of age.
