Direct Support Professional - Part and Full-Time

About the role

You’ll help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live full, empowered, and independent lives at home and in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks
• Assist with personal care: ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
• Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities
• Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks
• Transport individuals safely to appointments or social outings
• Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals
• Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress
• Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients
• Participate in required paid training and team meetings

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (fewer than 6 points)
• Proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Schedule

Full and Part Time with Every Other Weekend
