Direct Support Professional
About the role
A DSP functions as an advocate, supporter, educator and caregiver to individuals with disabilities. We believe in our clients and their right to live in the least-restrictive environment. We also ensure that the homes they live in allow them to lead fulfilled lives while remaining safe and well-cared-for. Our programs are 4-bedroom residential settings & centered around the individuals we support. The goal is to provide services to enrich the lives of our residents to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
- Cooking and cleaning
- Activities of the daily living
- Medication administration & documentation
- Socializing with residents (playing games, watching movies, going for walks, bonfires, etc.)
- Going to appointments & outings with clients (shopping, movies, fishing, etc.)
- Making a difference in the lives of others
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Pass a MN DHS Background Study
- Available to work every other weekend
- Current Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Clean Record

Schedule
Part-Time Hours Of Position: 8am-2pm, 2pm-10pm Every Other Weekend Is Required
