About the role

Team Member in Operations, reporting to the General Manager. Non-Exempt position responsible for supporting travel plazas that offer convenience retail, food service, and brand partners such as Auntie Anne’s, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Cinnabon, Dunkin’ Donuts, Panda Express, Panera, Popeyes, Pret, Shake Shack, Starbucks, and others.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, positive customer service to travelers.
• Operate point-of-sale systems, process payments accurately, and follow cash-handling policies.
• Follow food safety procedures: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstations and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products; maintain knowledge of plaza offerings.
• Adhere to brand standards, food safety requirements, company policies, and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand instructions, correspondence, and policy documents; converse comfortably with customers.
• Available for flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
