About the role

Team Member in Operations, reporting to the General Manager. Non-Exempt position responsible for assisting customers (Travelers) and supporting daily operations at travel plazas featuring brands such as Auntie Anne’s, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Cinnabon, Dunkin’ Donuts, Panda Express, Panera, Popeyes, Pret, Shake Shack, Starbucks, and others.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, positive customer service through helpful interactions with travelers.
• Operate point-of-sale systems, process payments accurately, and follow cash-handling policies.
• Follow food safety procedures: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking product temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstations and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products; maintain knowledge of plaza offerings.
• Adhere to brand standards, food safety requirements, company policies, and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying of at least 40 pounds.
• Proficiency speaking, reading, and comprehending instructions, correspondence, and policy documents; comfortable conversing with customers.
• Availability for flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
