What We Do
Transamerica is organized into three distinct businesses:
- World Financial Group, including Transamerica Financial Advisors
- Protection Solutions and Savings & Investments, comprised of life insurance, annuities, employee benefits, retirement plans, and Transamerica Investment Solutions
- Financial Assets, which includes legacy blocks of long term care, universal life, and variable and fixed annuities
These are supported by Transamerica Corporate, which includes Finance, People and Places, General Counsel, Risk, Internal Audit, Strategy and Development, and Corporate Affairs, which covers Communications, Brand, and Government and Policy Affairs.
Job Description
Manage the External Workforce Program for on and offshore external labor throughout the organization. Oversee day-to-day operations, administration, compliance, and staff responsible for job posting, contracts, relationship management and troubleshooting.
Main POC for Beeline reporting and supplier onboarding, training, and questions. Provide oversight and guidance to the VMS team members. Work with Compliance and Legal to ensure onboarding and offboarding of external workforce follow company and regulatory policies. Onboard suppliers and coordinate service requirements; manage new business integration to ensure a smooth transition. Develop and deliver workforce reporting and analytics to business partners and senior management. Develop and implement strategies to achieve service level metrics. Conduct supplier meetings regarding open positions and recruiting strategies. Manage operational issues between the company, business partners and suppliers regarding VMS system, order fulfillment, workflow and back-office practices. Assist in the coordination and oversight of internal audits and conduct continuous self-monitoring to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
- Eight years of external workforce program management experience
- Experience managing performance metrics and service level agreements
- In-depth knowledge of VMS tools
- Communication skills to present information to audiences at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Beeline
- Leadership experience managing global remote teams
- Strong team player with hands-on, can-do attitude
- Strong problem solving and thinking outside the box
- Experience with SAP/Ariba and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) tools
Working Conditions
Hybrid office environment: 3 days in office (Baltimore/Cedar Rapids/Denver/Philadelphia)
Occasional Travel
Compensation
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $95,000 - $126,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
This position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
