Team Leader -Wave Fab 1st Shift

Job Duties

• Successfully hand weld product based on production schedule needs
• Maintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properly
• Operation of all fabrication equipment in the cell (robotic welders, hydraulic banks, drill presses…)
• Follow production schedules, determine what should run and huddle with the team
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen events, layout planning, Value Stream Mapping as events happen)

Required Skills

• Required to operate, edit and program tube or wire bending equipment in the cell

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Value Added Skills: Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience
• Computer knowledge
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to train on any shift
• Positive Attitude

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift

• This is a 1st Shift position
• Hours are 6am-2pm Monday – Friday
• Overtime during busy season
