Team Leader (Part Time)
About the role
This part-time Supervisor role at LEGO Brand Retail is available at La Plaza Mall in McAllen, TX. The ideal candidate will provide training to enhance the team's ability to exceed high standards of customer service, product knowledge, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Maximize profitable sales by reviewing sales and margin information regularly
- Aid in ensuring appropriate and effective space management techniques are used
- Maintain the Store graphics system (including pricing) effectively, focusing on customer service and maximizing sales
- Evaluate and communicate on competitor visual merchandising techniques, identifying opportunities to develop the business
- Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO Brand Retail guidelines
- Motivate and develop a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO Brand, Vision, and Values
- Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand values
Requirements
Experience in a specialty retail store environment and a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) are required. Leadership and/or management experience is preferred.
Qualifications
Must have the physical ability to perform constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Lifting at least 30 lbs is required.
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to train and motivate teams, and proficiency in point of sale automated systems are essential.
Benefits
The base salary for the position ranges from $20.11 to $21.51 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
Pay
The hourly wage for the position has a range of $20.70 to $22.10 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
Schedule
Must provide availability to work up to 30 hours per week covering the full week and weekend with a minimum of 4 days.
